The Science in Science-Fiction

For all of our more academic-minded fans, we are planning a set of lectures that we believe will be right up your alley! While we can't advance the titles of said lectures (seeing as Professors are a group notorious for their abundance of ideas), we can nonetheless introduce you to our confirmed lecturers!

First we'd like to introduce you to the true Portuguese Time Lord, Professor of Physics at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL), and the Director of Lisbon's Astronomical Observatory (OAL), Professor Rui Agostinho. Professor Agostinho is responsible by the maintenance of the legal hour in Portugal and by the set up, in 2010, of the High Security Time Center.

Be sure to follow his facebook page and visit the Lisbon's Astronomical Observatory website!
